Further details: Paul has a BSc in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He has spent more than 20 years as a professional accountant, both in professional practice and as an independent interim financial manager for commercial and financial services companies.

Paul joined Buckingham in 2005, after working as a visiting lecturer. He lectures in Auditing and all aspects of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Corporate Governance, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His academic interests include Corporate Governance and the interface between the theoretical and practical aspects of Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Paul is also a visiting lecturer at Cranfield University, where he lectures on the MBA programme.
